Northeast Elementary opened in 1966 and has been a part of the fabric of Douglas County Schools ever since. Our students’ reach has extended far beyond our neighborhood, making their impact across the globe. Some students have found themselves coming back through the doors of Northeast establishing a legacy as parents of students or becoming teachers at our school.
Northeast is committed to helping all students achieve at high levels. Staff dedicate themselves to consistently improving their practice to engage students through purposeful, rigorous, project-based approaches.
