Northeast's vision is to create a learning environment where students are empowered to create opportunities for themselves and others.  Our mission is to ignite our community of learners with joy and curiosity!

Northeast Elementary opened in 1966, and over the last fifty years has been a part of the fabric of Douglas County Schools. Our students’ reach has extended far beyond our neighborhood, making their impact across the globe. Some students have found themselves coming back through the doors of Northeast establishing a legacy as parents of students or teachers at our school.

Over the past year Northeast has looked to re-establish a tradition of excellence. We have worked to reflect on the past, look to the future and move forward to create a place where all students will be prepared to be their best self and accomplish their potential. Northeast wants to preserve the great tradition of this school while creating a framework for each child to be successful.

Our incredible staff works tirelessly to prepare for your children and create a strong school culture to empower your children to be great citizens of Northeast and beyond. They dedicate themselves to consistently improving the curriculum to engage students through purposeful, rigorous, standards aligned project-based approaches.
